Under 15’s Warwickshire Girls Coach Job Description
2009 – 20010 session
Two Coach’s for Under 15’s Warwickshire Girls will work in partnership to develop county training, preparing for county representative rugby. They will report directly to the Warwickshire Girls Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities
To work in partnership to coach the Under 15’s girls squad for Warwickshire.In partnership plan the coaching programme for the season.Plan, prepare and deliver individual coaching sessions for the County Under 15’s squad.Ensure that all sessions are designed to develop the skills and understanding of the players in your squad.Evaluate all coaching sessions and games in partnership with the Warwickshire manager and players.Attend all trials, coaching sessions and matches involved with the Under 15’s squad.Mentor and advise players where appropriate.The Coach’s must be committed to furthering his/her coaching skills and be willing to commit to a programme of professional development.Provide constructive and fare feedback to players and parents.
Skills and Qualities
Level 1 Coach.Commitment and Enthusiasm – This position will require a large time commitment involving evenings and some weekends for training and matches.Punctuality – The Coach’s sets the standards for the players.Planning – The Coach’s are directly responsible for planning the coaching programme for the season and will be asked to prepare individual sessions.Leadership – The Coach’s set an example and standards for the squad. As such he/she will need to be able to inspire the players to ensure that all involved maximize their potential. He/She may need to make difficult decisions about selection of players.Team Work – The Coach’s needs to be able to work effectively with the players, parents, coaches and manager.Rugby Knowledge – It is expected that the Coach’s will have the required level of knowledge to enable the players to achieve their potential.
Training and playing dates. Training 27/9/2009, 18/10/2009, 22/11/2009 Match 8/11/09, County Tournament 6/12/2009. There will also be further training and matches after Christmas.

Under 18’s Warwickshire Girls Managers Job Description
One Manager for Under 18’s Warwickshire Girls will work with Warwickshire clubs. They will report directly to the Warwickshire Womens and Girls Manager.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesManage notification of players for training and games.Manage with Head Coach the team selection (secretarial duties)Manage collection and database all Under 18’s girls details in the Warwickshire area.Contact all Club/School coaches with dates of Warwickshire training and games.Assist the Warwickshire Child Protection Officer with any issue surrounding Warwickshire.Attend all training sessions to over see any issues or problems.Attend all games and be the Warwickshire Under 18’s squads liaison at all games.Be the contact for all parents of Under 18’s girls in Warwickshire teamsDeal with any disciplinary issues surrounding Warwickshire Under 18’s girls teams and Spectators.Attend Warwickshire Womens and Girls County Meetings.
