South Warwickshire Rugby Football Union is one of four District Unions that operate within Warwickshire. We provide a vital link between our member clubs and Warwickshire Rugby Football Union for the benefit of Community Rugby.
South Warwickshire provide opportunities for players to experience representative rugby through the three District Union Competitions at U17’s, U19’s & Senior levels. These competitions are run for the identification and development of players so that they may progress to County, Divisional & International levels or take their experience back to the club set-up for the further development of club rugby.
For our clubs we provide many competitions which include the Harold Stillwell XV-a-side Tournament and a Veterans Tournament for clubs to play social rugby. As we found that our junior sides were struggling to obtain fixtures we introduced 2nd XV & Tail Enders Merit Tables. Recently we have formed mid-week floodlit competitions for player recruitment, retention & development known as the Double Tops.
With our partners at Warwickshire Rugby Football Union and Warwickshire Society of Referees we support, administer & provide Rugby for the Community.
